My pre-wedding photoshoot

I had my pre-wedding photoshoot taken about 1 and a half week ago. Managed to take some shots of myself using my camera phone, but not many, because hubby kept the phone inside the car when we went for outdoor photoshoot and he didn't bring back the camera to me until when 2 sessions of the photoshoot were over. That was really too bad because then, I missed capturing the shots of myself wearing 2 of the nicest white gowns, both gowns also having long long tail.

You know lah, those photos captured by the bridal photographer are sold to us at exorbitant price, so photos captured below are really precious even though they are of lower quality. :)

Me in the traditional costume. Noticed the big rounded sponge on the tray in the picture above. We were sort of "forced" to buy this sponge at RM10. If don't buy, then will need to use their used sponge. So for the sake of hygiene, got to spend this money loh. I had actually thought of this (that they would sell the makeup sponge to us coz everything in this world is not free) and brought my own sponge, but then my makeup artist said the sponge I brought is too small and not enough for both of us to use. I should have brought the whole packet of makeup sponge that I had at home.

This hairdo makes my face looked so chubby and rounded. Yeah, actually I hated my rounded and chubby face, because not all hairdo will suit my face shape. Initially my makeup artist wanted to let my hair down, and perm them, but then halfway curling my hair, I saw that it made my face looked bigger, so I told her that and she changed the hairsytle by tying them up.

I hated this hairdo more. It was styled by another makeup artist. She basically did a shortcut styling my hair by bundling my hair up, and stick in a fake long hair. This gown is the 2nd last one and that time it was already 7sth at night. I guess she just wanted to quickly finish her work and go off.

My makeup artist MeiLing curling my eyelashes. I like this hairdo best. She sticked in a fake fringe for me and I think it really suits my rounded face. I like this gold coloured dress as well. I am thinking of taking this dress out for my wedding dinner night. What do you think, does the dress looks good on me? :)

Posing together with the photoshooting crew members. On my left is our leng-chai photographer and on my hubby's right side is his assistant.

I actually dreaded going for the photoshoot, worrying how I should pose or smile in front of the camera. Luckily the experience turned out to be good because our photographer is so professional, he taught us how to pose, and how I should turn and lowered down my face and showed the right face angle for the camera. I haven't seen my photos yet, will be going to pick the photos this weekend. I hope the photos will turn out good.

On the makeup and hairdo, I think overall, my makeup artist skill is good, but not terrific. I was expecting a better hairdo. The last hairdo (the one with my gold coloured dress) no doubt is nice, but the earlier ones were not so nice. The makeup seems to be very thick, and I'm not sure if it will make me look better in the photos. Will find out when i see my photos .

Our crops

The plant that kept us guessing what it really was months ago turned out to be a cili padi when we finally saw some cili padis sprouting out. It was fun watching the plant grows taller day by day and seeing it cropped was even more fulfilling.

But the plant didn't last long, it died after the long chinese new year holiday as we were not at home to water it. But it was not so bad after all because at least, we get to reap the harvest before it died. :)

Hubby planted lady's finger and it was so amazing that the small plant in our small pot can grow 2 little ladies finger!
